Námět tohoto příspěvku tvoří zjednodušeně řečeno otázka, jaké měly být epitafy, které objednával pražský arcibiskup Mikuláš Medek, jednak pro svého předchůdce Antonína Bruse of Mohelnice, jednak pro svého bratra, který působil ve Znojmě a jednak pro sebe, soudě podle toho, že jeho epitaf je takřka totožný s epitafem Bruse.

This article deals, simplifiedly, with the question, how should be appearance of epitaphs, comissioned by the archbishop of Prague Nicolaus Medek – the first one for his predecessor Antonin Brus of Mohelnice, the second for his brother, abbot in Znojmo and the third for himself, judging from the fact, that his epitaph is nearly identical with the gravestone of Brus.
