Cílem článku je zmapování vývoje jedné z dimenzí sociálních nerovností ve spotřebě bydlení - vývoje regionálních nerovností ve finanční dostupnosti bydlení v České republice v období 2000 – 2006. Článek se zaměřuje na statistickou analýzu souvislostí mezi vývojem regionálních nerovností ve finanční dostupnosti bydlení a vývojem ekonomické výkonnosti regionů v ČR.

The aim of the article is to map the trend of one of dimensions of social inequalities in the consumption of housing - the trend of regional inequalities in housing affordability in the Czech Republic in the period 2000 - 2006. The paper focuses on the statistical analysis of associations between the trends in regional inequalities in financial affordability of housing and trends in economic performance of regions in the Czech Republic.
