    A spontaneous mutant of Methanothermobacter thermautotrophicus resistant to tributyltin chloride (TBT) was isolated. The synthesis of ATP driven by methanogenic electron transport was profoundly diminished and was resistant to TBT due to probable mutational substitutions in the A1A0-ATP synthase operon.

    Přirozený mutant Methanothermobacter thermautotrophicus odolný vůči třibutylcín chloridu (TBT) byl izolován. Syntéza ATP hnána metan produkujícím elektronovým transportem byla úplně snížena a byla rezistentní k TBT způsobená pravděpodobně mutačními substitucemi v operonu A1A0-ATP synthasy.
