Po stručném přehledu o družicových misích CHAMP, GRACE a GOCE, určených ke studiu gravitačního pole Země, se článek věnuje podrobněji misi GOCE (Gravity and steady-state Ocean Circulation Explorer), která je jako první na světě vybavena družicovým gradientometrem (kombinací mikroakcelerometrů). Důraz je kladen na příspěvek autorů k výběru dráhy družice GOCE a ke zpracování gradientometrických měření pro optimální detailní popis gravitačního pole Země.

After brief overview about satellite missions CHAMP, GRACE, and GOCE, tailored to studies of the Earth‘s field of gravity, the paper deals more detailed with the mission GOCE (Gravity and Ocean Circulation Explorer) that is for the first time equipped by satellite gradiometer (a combination of micro accelerometers). Contribution of the authors to the orbit choice of the GOCE satellite and processing of gradiometry measurements for an optimum and detailed description of the Earth´s field of gravity is stressed out.
