Článek se věnuje vybraným aspektům především neolitického osídlení v oblasti údolí střední Svratky na sz.Brněnsku. Je zde nastíněna i problematika potenciálních komunikačních sítí v zájmovém prostoru. Nachází se zde dvě důležité suroviny pro výrobu broušené kamenné industrie – amfibolický diorit a dioritový porfyrit/porfyrický mikrodiorit. Jejich distribuce je zaznamenána v širším prostoru Moravy a přilehlého okolí, jistě se tedy v okolí primárních zdrojů vyskytovala hustá síť stezek.

The contribution is especially dealing with the selected aspects of the Neolithic settlement in the area of the middle course of the Svratka River (NW part of the Brno Region). Futhermore the issue of the potential traffic network is implied in the studied area as well. There are found two important row materials suitable for making of the edged stone industries. The distribution of these row materials is registered in the wider territory of the Moravia and its surroundings.
