This paper presents a new simple method of extraction of alkylphenols and nonyl-phenol mono- and diethoxylates from water using magnetic solid phase extraction. Different types of adsorbents were magnetically modified and used for the preconcentration and isolation of the target compounds. The target analytes were isolated from spiked distilled and tap water, real samples from the river Elbe and the reservoir Rozkos and also from water phase after biodegradation tests of oxyethylated nonylphenols. Detection limits of the method were between 0.7 and 1 µg/L.
