The study reports U(VI) uptake from solution on titanium rich black sand. It was shown, that the crystal surfaces exhibit marginal influence on the total uptake of U(VI) on Ti-containing micro- and mesoporous silicate materials. The results were evaluated using Lagergren first order equation.
