Introduction of 3,3-diphenyl-L-alanine or its D-enantiomer into position 2 of arginine vasopressin results in preservation or increase and prolongation of antidiuretic activity, transformation of uterotonic property in antagonistic one and cancelation the effect on blood pressure.
