Using transmission electron microscopy, fine structure of sperms and process of spermiogenesis of primitive trematode Aspidogaster limacoides (subclass Aspidogastrea), a parasite of two species of cyprinid fishes from Slovakia and Russia were studied. Newly obtianed data enables us to describe general pattenr of spermiogenesis and spermatozoon ultrastructure of members of this phylogenetically important group of helminth parasites.
