Ve stati se zaměřuji na otázku konstrukce péče o dítě u otců, kteří se v období rodičovské dovolené stali primárními pečovateli. Zajímá mne, jak tito otcové interpetují otcovstí, jak reflektují svou identitu a genderové vztahy v rámci rodiny. Sleduji, jaká schémata a zdůvodnění aktéři při konstrukci sociální reality používají a s jakým "výsledkem". Získané poznatky nás pak mohou posunout v pochopení utváření genderu v různých rovinách jeho fungování, stejně tak jako v pochopení konstrukce a fungování genderových ne/rovností.

TThe article deals with the issue of construction of caring for fathers, who have become primary carers in the period of parental leave. In the article I analyze how these fathers reflect the fathering, how they construct their identity and interpret gender relations within the family. I seek for patterns and justification that these social actors use in their construction of social reality and with which "result". Acquired knowledge can then move us in the understanding of gender in the various levels of its functioning, as well as in understanding the structure and functioning of gender in/equalities.
