Autorky v článku mapují teoretické argumenty genderové dimenze sociálního státu. Navrhují tři integrální dimenze konceptualizace rodičovství v české společnosti a na trhu práce: 1) právo být rodičem a právo pracovat, 2) rovnost či nediskriminaci v rodičovství, 3) příležitost dosáhnout kombinace pracovního a soukromého života.

In this article the authors map the theoretical arguments on the gender dimension of the welfare state. They propose three integral dimensions of conceptualising the excercise of parenthood in Czech society and in the labour market: 1) the right to be a parent and the right to work, 2) equality or non-discrimination in parenthood, 3) the oportunity to achieve a work/life balance.
