Community composition and abundance of epigeic arthropods (spiders and ground beetles) caught to pitfall traps and of ladybirds sampled on plants were compared between conventional and GMO potatoes in Bulgaria. The two plots either did not differ or both abundance and species richness were higher in GMO plots. Potato cultivar had no effect on development of ladybirds fed with aphids from potatoes in laboratory.

Složení společenstev a abundance pozemních členovců (pavouků a střevlíků) chytaných do zemních pastí a slunéček sbíraných na rostlinách byly srovnávány na polích konvečních a geneticky modifikovaných (GMO) brambor v Bulharsku. Oba typy ploch se buď nelišily, anebo na ploše GMO byla vyšší abundance i druhová bohatost. Typ brambor neměl žádný vliv na vývoj slunéček krmených mšicemi z brambor v laboratoři.
