Preparation of PbI2 crystals by direct synthesis from lead and iodine with the addition of rare earth elements, their iodides and Au, Ag and Ge is reported. Electrical, luminescence and structural properties of prepared crystals were investigated in view of their use in radiation detection.

Je presentována příprava PbI2 pomocí přímé syntézysz olova a jodu s přidáním prvků vzácných zemin a jejich jodidů a dále Au, Ag a Ge. Byly vyšetřovány elektrick,é luminiscenční a strukturní vlastnosti připravených krystalů s ohledem na jejich využití pro detekci radiačního záření.
