A large field experiment with transgenic maize begins. It will test the assumption that the use of insecticides suppresses predatory insects and thereby reduces ecosystem resistance to the Diabrotica attack.
Začíná velký polní pokus s transgení kukuřicí. Jeho cílem je prověření hypotézy, že použití insekticidů hubí dravý hmyz a tím snížuje obranu ekosystém proti šíření bázlivce.
