Článek shrnuje informace o kultovním areálu doby halštatské na vrchu Burkovák u Nemějic v jižních Čechách. Je věnován zejména analýze nalezených keramických zlomků a fragmentů hliněných plastik. Po kompletní revizi autoři vyčlenili 21 základních typů a několik dalších variant. Celkový počet dnes dochovaných plastik z Burkováku, včetně zlomků keramických nádob, činí 1855. Většina z plastik představuje symboly slunce, části zápřahu, napodobeniny šperků nebo předmětů z organických látek. Některé motivy měly významné postavení i v náboženských představách předcházející doby popelnicových polí; keramické předměty z Burkováku prozrazují vazbu na symboly této epochy.

Ritual site from the Hallstatt Culture on Burkovák Hill near Nemějice. The article summarises information on a ritual site dating to the period of the Hallstatt culture and located on Burkovák Hill near Nemějice in Southern Bohemia. It focuses on the analysis of finds of ceramic fragments and fragments of clay sculpture. After a thorough examination of the finds, the authors identified 21 basic types and several additional varieties. The total number of extant sculptures from Burkovák to date, including the fragments of ceramic vessels, is 1855. The majority of the sculptures are symbols of the sun, parts of a yoke, and imitation jewellery or objects made of organic material. Some of the motifs held strong significance also in the religious beliefs of the preceding period of the Urnfield culture; the ceramic objects from Burkovák reveal a link to symbols from that period.
