Die vorliegende Studie versucht die Bedeutung der Oberlausitz im Bildungsprozess des Adels aus den böhmischen Ländern zu erforschen. Auf der einen Seite verfolgt sie die Lateinschulen, die vom Adel aus Böhmen und Mähren frekventiert wurden, auf der anderen Seite widmet sie ihre Aufmerksamkeit auch Oberlausitzern, die als Privaterzieher dieser Nobilität wirkten.

The submitted article is trying to appreciate the significance of Upper Lusatia for educational process of the nobility from the Bohemian Lands. On the one hand it traces Latin schools frequented by the noblemen from Bohemia and Moravia, on the other hand then Upper Lusatians who served as their private tutors.

Předložená studie se pokouší postihnout význam Horní Lužice ve vzdělávacím procesu šlechty z českých zemí na prahu novověku. Sleduje na jedné straně latinské školy navštěvované v této oblasti urozenci z Čech a Moravy, na straně druhé Hornolužičany působící v této době ve funkci jejich soukromých vychovatelů.
