Po roce 1918 zaměstnávalo rozsáhlé společenské angažmá architekty ve značném spektru uměleckých činností, a proto se možná odpověď po podstatě národního stylu nabízí v rámci širšího kulturního a politického kontextu.

After the year 1918 had extensive social projects employed architects in all sorts of artistic activities, and therefore a possible answer to what the essence of the national style was is offered by the wider cultural and political context.
