Caged calcium chelator (diazo-2) was used to study the relationship between the extent and rate of muscle relaxation. This relationship was demonstrated in permeabilised preparations (Ø cca 300 µm) from “catch” muscle. This smooth muscle serves as a model to study physiologically related smooth muscle of “latch” type found in the blood vessel wall and participating in blood pressure regulation
Pro studium vztahu mezi amplitudou a rychlostí svalové relaxace byl použit prekurzor chelátoru vápníku (diazo-2). Tento vztah byl demonstrován na permeabilizovaných preparátech (Ø cca 300 µm) hladkého svalu typu “catch”. Ten je modelem pro studium fyziologicky příbuzného hladkého svalu typu “latch” v cévní stěně, který se podílí na regulaci krevního tlaku
