    Textile vascular prostheses were coated with amorphous diamond- like carbon (DLC) layers. The layers were created by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) in argon ambient. Depending on the deposition conditions the percentage of sp3 ("diamond") content varied from 40 % to 60 %. In vivo tests were evaluated. Two types of coated vessels (more graphitic x more sp3 content) and reference ones were operated into into arteria carotis of sheep. Best results were obtained with more "diamond" layers, thickness of 20 nm.

    Textilní cévní náhrady byly pokryty vrstvou DLC (diamantu-podobného uhlíku). Vrstvy byly připraveny metodou PLD. V závislosti na depozičních podmínkách se měnil obsah sp3 vazeb od 40% do 60%. In-vivo testy byly realizovány na ovcích.
