DNA modifications by new dinuclear RuII arene compounds were studied. The complexes bind DNA forming intrastrand and interstrand cross-links in one DNA molecule. An intriguing aspect of the DNA-binding mode of these dinuclear RuII compounds is that they can crosslink two DNA duplexes and also proteins to DNA.
Byly studovány modifikace DNA sérií nových dinukleárních Ru komplexů. Tyto komplexy tvoří na molekule DNA vnitrořetězcové i meziřetězcové můstky. Kromě toho jsou schopny vytvářet také můstky mezi dvěma molekulami DNA nebo DNA a proteiny.
