Der Beitrag befasst sich mit Anfang des Kultes und der Ikonographie des Hl. Sigismunds in den böhmischen Ländern, mit Motiven der Durchsetzung des neuen Heiligen von Karl IV, mit Buch der Wunder beim Prager Dom, mit der Frage des Abtransportes der Überreste des Heiligen nach Ungarn von Sigismund von Luxemburg und mit der neuen Welle der Achtung in der jagellonischen Zeit.

A paper about the beginning of the saint´s cult and his iconography in the Czech Lands, Emperor Charles IV´s motivation for promoting the saint, the book of miracles at the Prague Cathedral, the question of taking the saint´s bones away to Hungary by Sigismund of Luxembourg and about the renewal of this devotion in the time of the Jagellons.
