    Two information coding schemes are proposed and studied in a model of the single olfactory receptor neuron of the male moth Antheraea polyphemus. We show that they are in agreement with plume measurements in the field and obeying the efficient coding principle

    Pomocí teorie informace jsou navrhnuta a studována dvě schémata kódování informace v olfaktorním neuronu motýla Antheraea polyphemus. Porovnáním s experimentálními měřeními je ukázáno, že feromonový receptor splňuje princip eficientního kódování
