Cerebral infarction versus solar and geomagnetic activity: a cross-regression study.

The 16 years long time series of monthly frequencies of cerebral infarctions observed in Nové Zámky, Slovakia, was cross-correlated to time series of solar and geomagnetic activity. A negative correlation was found for time shifts up to almost one year. It is concluded that these factors do not support the occurrence of the mentioned disease. Instead, an opposite relation appears to be true.

Řada měsíčních počtů mozkových mrtvic sledovaná v nemocnici Nové Zámky, Slovensko, v délce 16 let byla korelována s časovými řadami sluneční a geomagnetické aktivity. Pro časové posuvy až do jednoho roku byla nalezena záporná korelace. Z toho plyne, že tyto faktory nepodporují výskyt zmíněného onemocnění. Naopak, ukazuje se obrácený vztah.
