The scope and limitations of hydroxymethylations of aryl halides by Pd-catalyzed cross-couplings with (benzoyloxy)methylzinc iodide was studied. The reaction is efficient only for electron deficient aryl halides.

Byla studována obecnost a omezení hydroxymethylací aryl halogenidů Pd-katalyzovanými cross-couplingy s (benzoyloxy)methylzink jodidem. Reakce je efektivní pouze pro elektronově chude aryl halogenidy.
