A new and distinct, late, diploid variety of Malus Mill. with breeder’s reference UEB 3375/2 that produces apples having crisp, juicy flesh with a pleasant aroma and harmonic sugar/acid content suitable for use as a dessert fruit. The new variety exhibits a similar tree habit, yellow ground color of fruits, and long fruit stem to Golden Delicious, but exhibits a globose fruit shape, the absence of fruit russeting, later fruit maturation, better keeping quality of the fruits, and the presence of Vf resistance against scab. In the European Union is commercialized under the denomination LUNA.

Nová a odlišná, pozdní, diploidní odrůda Malus Mill. se šlechtitelským označením UEB 3375/2. Plody mají křehkou, šťavnatou dužninu s příjemnou chutí a harmonickým poměrem cukru a kyselin a celkovou kvalitu stolního ovoce. Nová odrůda se podobá odrůdě Golden Delicious středně silným růstem a habitem stromů, žlutým zbarvením a dlouhou stopkou plodů, liší se však od ní kulovitým tvarem a absencí rzivosti plodů, pozdějším zráním, delší skladovatelností a přítomností genu Vf pro rezistenci proti strupovitosti. V Evropské unii je odrůda obchodována pod názvem LUNA.
