The mechanical model of a double impact oscillator is composed from two symmetrically placed equivalent systems with one degree of freedom - impact oscillators, which were examined in more detail in [1], [2]. The mass of every system is excited by the periodic external force. The viscous damping of the motion is assumed and mutual impacts of moving masses can be exploited in a forming process. Such a new arrangement of the forming machine can introduce several advantages in comparison with the current state, e.g. the elimination of the impact impulses propagation into the machine surroundings and the increase of the efficiency of the energy transfer from the excitation into the formed material.
