Author analyses the possible uses for kitchen account books, known as kuchlbuch, from the period 1705-1706, from the Sternberg-Manderscheid archive fund, kept in National Museum Archive, as seen in the context of court history. Ha states that these books are of key importance for our understanding of court eating habits and for the analysis of the relevant segment of court management. He also provides highly valuable information regarding certain secific issues, such as the celebration of individual feast days within the court environment or visits to the court itself.
