    Zeolite (Al)-ZSM-12 was synthesised in a broad range of Si/Al ratio using methyltriethylammonium bromide as structure-directing agent with aim to characterize the type and concentration of acid sites in dependence on Si/Al ratio and calcinations procedure. The highest concentration of Broensted sites particularly at lower Si/Al rations was achieved via calcinations of (Al)-ZSM-12 in a stream of ammonia followed by a repeated sodium ion exchanged and further calcinations in a stream of air.
