    Direct procedure of preparation of dilakali hexatriynides at -78°C gives monomer product, whereas stepwise one results in poly(dialkali hexatriynides). Poly(dilithium hexatriynide) gives after the solvolysis polymer free of lithium, having stoichiometric composition; product of methanolysis contains the multiwave carbon nanotubes. Poly(dipotassium hexatriynide) provides after the solvolysis mainly soluble carbonaceous polymers, containing still about 22
