The association between short term changes in air pollution (total suspended particles and SO2) and day-to-day fluctuation in mortality was analyzed in highly polluted Northern Bohemia (for the time period 1982-1994). A logistic regression model was a adjusted for long term trends, seasonal cycles, influenza epidemics and weather parameters.
