Methods for the determination of total arsenic and toxic arsenic forms in urine for the purpose of biological monitoring was completed by blood arsenic determinations. For the mineralization of blood samples the dry ash decomposition with magnesium nitrate was recommended to give reliable results by HG AAS. It was proved by analyses of the control sample Seronorm 404107 spiked with As-species. Recoveries, precision and detection limits are included.
