Both integrative and disintegrative tendencies in the relationships of Czechs and Slovaks finally has led to their mutual emancipation and satisfying level of mutual assistance and cooperation. This experience testifies to not tooverestimate the mechanical comparisons of nations on the individual indicators scales, but rather to stress in the evaluation general directions of their complex evolution. On the base of the experience of the cooperation of Czech and Slovak sociologists, methodological principles of study of nations are recommended.
