Pojem lidský kapitál získává na významu v globalizované společnosti vědění, kde hlavním zdrojem rozvoje a růstu je produkce a aplikace inovačního vědění. V tomto kontextu jsou charakterizovány nové formy znalostní produkce a i z tohoto hlediska aktuální koncepty potenciality a flexibility.

The term human capital gains on relevance in the globalized knowledge society where the key source of development and growth is the production and application of innovative knowledge. In this context, the new forms of knowledge production as well as the topical concepts of potentiality and flexibility are characterised.
