Mechanické vlastnosti tvárných liatin zarad'uju tento materiál medzi špičkové materiály na výrobu odliatkov. Pree experimentálné práce boli odliate dve série tavieb tvárnej liatiny s alternovaným zložením vsádzky a alternovanou prísadou FeSi a SiC, tak aby bolo dosiahnute približne rovnaké výsledné chenické zloženie vo všetkych tavbách.

This study is aimed to clarify the influence of ferrosilicon vs. silicon carbide addition, and of ferrite content in the matrix and its micropurity on the failure of ductile iron.
