    Using resistometry, four stages were distinguished in isochronal annealing of a Cu-Al-Ni shape memory alloy. Anneling-out of the excess quenched-in vacancies and precipitation of the ű.sub.2 phase are discussed as dominant processes causing the observed changes in the transformation temperatures.
