The interplay of photochromism and fluorescence was studied by attaching as chromophore to dithienylperfluoroclopentene (1.2/bis(5-anthryl-2-methylthien-3-yl)perfluorocyclopentene, Ac-BMTFR).The data are analyzed in terms of a model potencial and single-electron density matrices.
