The thermodynamic and transport properties of the Er1-xYxCo2 system were studied in the concentration range 0-1.0.The existence of itinerant electron metamagnetism in the Co sublattice is found to be limited in temperature by To, a characteristic temperature which is sensitive to substitutution and pressure.
