Článek se zabývá vývojem agrárního proudu mladočeské strany (Národní strana svobodomyslná) od konce 80. let 19. století do počátku 20. století, kdy došlo k oddělení agrárního proudu od mladočeské strany a k založení samostatné agrární strany.

The history of Czech agrarianism began in the late 1880s and early 1890s. This essay examines the roots of Czech agrarianism - a remarkable phenomenon in Czech history in then first half of the twentieth century. Its particular focus is agrararianism during its Young Czech (formally the National Liberal party) period of from 1889 to 1890.
