Článek je věnován historii přijímacích zkoušek na VŠ v letech 1864 - 1950. Pozornost je zaměřena na pražskou techniku. Jsou objasněny důvody, které vedly k zavedení přijímacích zkoušek, je popsána struktura zkoušky. V závěru jsou připojeny statistické tabulky úspěšnosti a neúspěšosti studentů a ukázka přijímací zkoušky.

The paper is devoted to the history of entrance examinations at the Universities, especially at the Prague Technical University in the period of 1864 - 1950. The reasons of the setting the entrance procedure are cleared up and the process of the entrance examination is described.Statistic tables of the studentsŽ suuccefulness and unsuccefulness and the demonstration of examination examples are added to the text.
