The article deals with the most significant data and information obtained by aerial prospection, geophysicalmeasurement and subsequent archaeological excavation ofprehistoric circular ditches (from the neolithic periodto the Late Bronze Age) in the Czech Republic. A numberof examples feature the advantages of this three-levelresearch model, particularly in the subject of the so calledMoravian rondell archaeology.The three-level research model proved itself to be very efficient in terms of results,coast and time.
