Vliv teploty a vysokých tlaků na magnetické, elastické, strukturní a tepelné vlastnosti Tb5Si2Ge2 byl studován pomocí makroskopických (teplotní roztažnost, magnetizace) a mikroskopických (prášková neutronová difrakce) technik. V práci dokazujeme, že vysokoteplotní feromagnetický fázový přechod druhého druhu může být za vysokých tlaků svázán s nízkoteplotním strukturním přechodem prvního druhu
