Long-term data from a field experiment are used to test the effects of productivity and diversity on species and community biomasss variability. It is concluded, that the effect of productivity increases both the population and community biomass variability.

Data z dlouhodobého terénního pokusu byla využita k testu vlivu diverzity a produktivity prostření na variabilitu. Bylo konstatováno, že zvýšená produktivita zvyšuje jak variabilitu biomasy jednotlivých populací, tak variabilitu společenstva.
