Práce se zabývá možnostmi protipovodňové ochrany severočeské obce Křešice s využitím podzemního drenážního kanálu vybudovaného v první polovině 20. století.

The paper deals with a unique 3 km long underground sew that functions as a drainage channel of local creek and its role during high floods of Labe river.
