Studie se zabývá situací na českých vysokých školách v prvních letech nového komunistického režimu v Československu ve spojení s nově jmenovanými vysokoškolskými profesory. Záměrem práce je potvrzení či vyvrácení hypotézy, zda (a v jaké míře) byla učiněna jmenování profesorů v rámci "politické objednávky". Politické hodnocení vysokoškolských pedagogů je založeno zejména na archivních materiálech z fondu bývalého Archivu dějin KSČ (Státní ústřední archiv).

The study concerns itself with the situation at Czech universities in the early years of the new communist regime in Czechoslovakia in connection with newly appointed university professors. The objective of the work is to confirm or refute the hypothesis of whether (and to what extent) the appointments of the professors were carried out under a "political order". The political evalution of the university educators is based in particular on archival materials from the fund of the former Archive of the History of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (State Central Archive).
