A region with a 17 GHz radio source with a decreased microwave spectral index has been recognized at the top of the flare loop in the post-maximum phase of the August 24, 2002. The radio emission from this region has been interpreted as optically thin gyro-synchrotron emission.

Ve vrcholu erupční smyčky ve fázi po maximu erupce ze dne 24. srpna 2002 byla zjištěna oblast zdroje na 17 GHz s poklesem spektrálního indexu. Tato rádiová emise byla interpretována jako opticky tenké gyro-synchrotronové záření.
