Cílem tohoto příspěvku je ukázat v rámci konkrétního regionu (i) vazbu vegetace na reliéf a jeho morfometrické vlastnosti (charakteristiky):(ii) využitelnost mapy potencionální přirozené vegetace pro interpretaci prostorově ovlivněného vývoje vegetace v krátkodobém (poškození lesa) i dlouhodobém (odlesňování, osídlení) časovém horizontu.

Vegetation is a very good biological indicator of the environment, the units of potential natural vegetation are in close correlation with the elevation, exposition, anthropogenic impact and/or forest health. Two hierarchical levels were studied, the level of "šphysiotypes" (similar to alliances), and the subassociation level.
