Příspěvek se týká několika problémů zkoumaných na Chemickém kyslík-jódovém laseru a využití výsledků tohoto výzkumu k urychlení vývoje COILu a v pokrokových technikách používaných u tohoto laseru. Jsou presentovány nejdůležitější experimentální výsledky z posledního výzkumu
