In April 2003 a mass migration of Chrysodeixis chalcites was observed near the SE coast of Tenerife (Montana Roja). Identification and characteristics of closely related two vicariant species C. chalcites and C. eriosoma are given. Only C. chalcites is recorded from the Canary Islands and was the only component of the mass migration

V dubnu 2003 byla pozorována masová migrace můry Chrysodeixis chalcites poblíž JV pobřeží ostrova Tenerife. Identifikace a charakteristika dvou blízce příbuzných vikarizujících druhů C. chalcites a C. eriosoma jsou uvedeny. Z Kanárských ostrovů je hlášen pouze druh C. chalcites a také to byl jediný komponent hromadné migrace
