Katedra sociální práce a sociální politiky vznikla 1.9.2003 jako jedna ze tří nástupnických kateder Ústavu sociálních studií. Garantuje studium tříletého studijního bakalářského programu Sociální práce v prezenční a kombinované formě. Profil absolventa bakalářského studijního programu Sociální péče zahrnuje přípravu pracovníků na jejich uplatnění ve veřejnoprávních institucích.

The Department of Social Work and Social Policy originated on 1 September 2003 as one of the three successor departments of the Institute of Social Studies. It provides a three years´ Bachelor study of social work in day and combined forms. The profile of graduates of the course Social Care prepares the graduates for employment in public institutions.
