The whole cells of Aspergillus niger convert the nitriles to acids or amides in the pH range 3 - 11. Aromatic nitriles gave both acids and amides,with the alpha-substituted acrylonitriles amides wer the sole products.
Celé buňky Aspergillus niger přeměňují nitrily na kyseliny či amidy při pH 3 - 11. Aromatické nitrily dávají jak kyseliny, tak amidy; u alfa-substituovaných akrylonitrilů jsou jediným produktem amidy.
